Dental Bonding to Close Small Gaps in Teeth

Dental bonding is a treatment where we shape tooth-colored resin onto your tooth to change its size, shape, or spacing. We then harden it with a special light so it stays in place.

This patient came in with small gaps between the lower front teeth. We used bonding to close the spaces and even out the look of the teeth. In the after photo, the teeth sit closer together and look more balanced.

Bonding is often a gentle option because we usually remove little to no natural tooth structure. Many cases can be completed in a single visit. Bonded teeth can stain or chip over time, so we will talk with you about how to care for them.

If you have small gaps, a chip, or uneven teeth, ask us whether bonding could work for you. Results vary from person to person.
