Tooth Whitening (Tooth Bleaching) by Antelope Creek Family Dentistry

Everyone wants a bright and white, beautiful smile.

Teeth whitening services are growing in popularity, as modern culture places an emphasis on the importance of white teeth in terms of aesthetics and social acceptance. However, the reality is that over-the-counter, “too good to be true” solutions don’t typically work to achieve that white smile you desire. For both these reasons, teeth whitening services are some of the most sought after treatments at our Lincoln family dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and restorative dentistry practice.

What Causes Discoloration?

Unfortunately, the fact is your teeth will darken over time. This discoloration is heavily linked to the types of food and beverages you consume, like coffee, tea, and soda. Other factors that can contribute to tooth discoloration may include childhood medications or illnesses, tobacco use, and improper oral hygiene. Luckily, Antelope Creek Family Dentistry is here with a variety of options to whiten your teeth and combat the changes in coloration.

How We Help You Smile Brighter

Restoring your natural white smile is a priority for our dental whitening team. We are trained professionals who use industry-approved methods to continuously work toward meeting every one of our patients’ needs.

One of the preferred methods we use to whiten teeth is Opalescence Whitening. This method involves applying a gentle, carbamide peroxide gel to your teeth either in the comfort of our Lincoln office or at home using special, custom-made trays. This gel comes in three different flavors: mint, melon, or regular. In your first visit to our practice we will apply the solution, wait the allotted time, then reveal your brighter, whiter smile!

Compared to other teeth whitening systems, such as Zoom!, Opalescence doesn’t require the use of an activating light. Additionally, our dentists have found that Opalescence generally works better at giving you the most desirable results.
